ATM को जॉन शेफर्ड बैरन ने बनाया था। 1965 में 1 दिन बैरन पैसे निकालने बैंक 1 मिनट की देरी से पहुंचते हैं, और बैंक बंद हो गया, इसके बाद उन्होंने सोचा कि एक ऐसी मशीन बनाई जाए जो 24 घंटे पैसे दे सके।

 The ATM was built by John Shepherd Baron. In 1965, one day Baron arrived to withdraw the bank with a delay of 1 minute and the bank closed after which he thought why not build a machine that can withdraw money for 24 hours.
